Resource Efficiency Centre

The Resource Efficiency Centre provides support and advice for Lancashire based businesses that seek to make more efficient use of resources such as electricity, gas, fuel and water. With the cost of utilities rising rapidly, the Resource Efficiency Centre provides a timely source of impartial advice to the region's business community.

Funded through the European Regional Development Fund by Lancashire County Developments Limited and Blackpool Council, the Resource Efficiency Centre can offer assistance to companies throughout the North West. The support is free to small and medium sized businesses in eligible parts of North and Western Lancashire. (See our Project page for eligibility details.)

Through the Resource Efficiency Centre, businesses can benefit from site visits, advice and recommendations concerning:

  • Energy efficiency - energy saving products and techniques.
  • Water saving measures.
  • The Resource Efficiency Centre is supported by Blackpool Council (logo)Waste management (including waste water).
